Cooking with my Dad

On Saturday I cooked with my dad. We looked through the cook book my mum wrote and the cook book I got for my birthday. We chose the meal from my mum's cook book and the dessert from my cook book. The meal was pasta carbonara and the dessert was profiteroles. We made two things at the same time!

Scaling up recipes

Today we made...

Chocolate Cornflake Cakes

These were the ingredients (to make 4 cupcakes):

· 17g butter
· 33g milk or dark chocolate, broken into chunks
· 1 tablespoon golden syrup
· 33g cornflakes

But we wanted to make 12 cupcakes so we scaled it up by about three times:

· 50g butter
· 100g milk or dark chocolate, broken into chunks
· 2 tablespoon golden syrup
· 100g cornflakes
