The name of a country is hiding in the consecutive letters within a sentence.

Who is the thief?

A Japanese Military ship sailing in Pacific Ocean. Japanese captain of the ship going to take a shower. He kept his diamond chain and Rolex watch in the table shelf and went for shower and returns in 10 mins.

Now listen carefully....

When he returns both chain and watch went missing

He called the crews in the ship. There were four of them. 

1. Crew01. He the cook in the ship. Captain asked where were you last 10 mins. He answered "I was in the cold room to select the meat for the lunch."

2. Crew02. Captain repeats same question. He was the house keeping guy and he informed that he was at the top of the ship correcting the flag which was upside down.

3. Crew03: again same question. He was an engineer maintains the ship. He told that he was in generator room checking the generator.

4. Crew04. Same question repeats here also.   He was also a house keeping Crew. He told I was sleeping after the night shift.

With in 10 secs captain caught the thief. How and who is the thief?

The Riddle

In the holidays my Dad told me a riddle, and now you have to figure it out!

Here's the Riddle:

So their is a little village, and in that village, it is against the law to cut your own hair. There are two
Hair dressers, one with scruffy hair, and one with beautiful hair. the one with scruffy hair is called Emerald, and the one with beautiful hair is Ruby.

If you lived in that village, would you go to Emerald, OR Ruby?

The answer is:

Emerald

Because: Ruby gave Emerald the scruffy hair, while Emerald gave a beautiful haircut to Ruby.

Orange Puzzle

A farmer was going from Valencia to Paris in a van with 3 sacks full of 30 oranges in each sack.  

The farmer had to pass 30 tollgates to get to Paris. 

In each tollgate he had to give 1 orange per sack of oranges, as toll fee.

Here is the answer for the post which I put earlier.

The Question was to find the answer to the below sum:

1 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 1
1 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 1
1 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 1-1+1 + 1 + 1 + 1

Here, we are not adding only 1s.
In the first line, at the end, it is not a 1, but it is 11 without an Add symbol in between.
Also, in the second line, at the end, there is another 11.

So the answer is 44.

Making 28 from 2 0 1 5

In Secondary the students are playing a game where they use only the digits 2, 0, 1, and 5, in any order, with the operations +, -, x, ÷ to make numbers.

Like

20 + 15 = 35

or

102 - 5 = 97

Here's a hard challenge.

Can you make the number 28?

You might find that too hard, but I will give you some tips.
When you put an exclamation mark after a number it's called a factorial.

1! = 1
2! = 2 × 1 = 2
3! = 3 × 2 × 1 = 6
4! = 4 × 3 × 2 × 1 = 24

But the strange thing is, 0! = 1

Tip: a zero can be used as a one, like this 0!
The sum to make 28 is 14 + 14 = 28
You can make 14 as 15 - 1.

Sudoku

Each number should be there in each column,each box and each row. Example 3 is in the first row so it can't come there or in the first box. If 2 numbers can come in the same row you can't do anything. If  you move on you  would finish the row and the box. If you continue you would finish the puzzles.

Tenaliraman's Problem solving

Once upon a time, there lived a Vidushak (means Comedy Poet) called Raman from a place called Tenali.  He was very wise and he was part of the King Krishnadeva Raya’s court.  He was more known as Tenaliraman and there are lots of stories about him.

I read one of the stories in which he first gets introduced to the king by solving a problem.

One day, 3 brothers came to the King’s court room with a problem. 

When their father died he had left 17 elephants to be divided between the three brothers.  He wrote a will before he died like this:

·         The biggest brother had to get half (1/2) of the total elephants

·         The middle brother had to get one third (1/3^rd) of the total elephants

·         The smallest brother had to get one third (1/3^rd) of what the middle brother gets.

Nobody could divide 17 elephants by half or 1/3^rd, because it is an odd number.

That time Tenaliraman came and said that he can solve this problem.

·         Tenaliraman asked for 17 toy elephants. 

·         And he asked for 1 more elephant which belongs to the king.

·         The total of that were 18. 

Now, it was easy for Tenaliraman to divide it like this:

A Game Of Noughts And Crosses

Once upon a time in a hidden rickety little old cottage a game of noughts and crosses was taking place that day, the contestants were an old man and a bear. But this was not a normal game of noughts and crosses like we play it on a piece of paper, but on the famous rock called 0ROCK so the game started at 10:30 in the morning, and went on and on and on ( it’s that the rock was extremely big.) the game finally finished at 10:30PM  there was a little discussion for who won but the bear won.
