Lentils of Spring

This is the thing I do to celebrate Spring.
Its some thing that Arabic people do, you can do it yourself if you have these things:

• lentils
• soup plate
• water

First put the lentils into the soup plate without fill in it.
Next put some water until the plate is covered (make sure the water is blended with the lentils so that it looks like the lentils are filling the plate).
Now wait to see that the lentils grow as much as 16 cm high in just 9 or 8 days!

This is what the lentils look like at my house.
They are magnificent I wish I could keep them but since I am moving house I cannot.

Latin name:       Astrapia Nigra

Size:                   76cm long
Colours :            Male black purple green and bronze
                           Female black
Habitat:              trees of the Arfak mountains in New guinea
Food:                  pandanus fruit

The arfak astrapia [Astrapia nigra] is large approximately 76 cm long

His plumage is black purple green and bronze for a male and black for a female.
It displays up side down to attract the female.
It manly feeds on pandanus fruit.

Forming Salt Stalactites

At the weekend a month ago I made an experiment to make salt stalactites.
Here is the experiment if you want to make it.
I put water with lots of salt in two plastic glass.
I took a 30cm wool string. I put 1 end into each glass of plastic so that the end of the string touched the water.

You need to wait several day for the salty water to make the stalactites and if you are lucky
like me you also have crystals!
Some crystals were formed 2 or 3 days ago, we were amazed how they were made out of
salt.

Sometimes I stay,sometimes I run.
Through the humid leaves.
I look!
I run!
To my comfy humid home.
And sit there sleeping until dawn.


When I was younger I used to play with my brothers.
And I lay there playing and playing.


Now that I am big and old.
I live alone hunting and bieng careful I am not hunted.


Now it is time to mate.
I mate
I need to make a nest.
So I pull the vines
And pull the lianas
And there I lay Making my holy nest.


Now that my hachlings have grown.
they are big and strong.
Its time to say Bye bye.

Down down through the humid leaves of the spooky rainforest lies...

A colourful iguana sunbathing

A spotted jaguar prowling

A creepy tarantula crawling

A friendly  spider monkey scawling

A camouflaged sloth dozing

A hungry tapiar munching

A spectacled bear climbing

But all of these secrets are well  hidden in the tropical rainforest

The Woman and the Bird

In a deep black forest a woman whimpered to a little stream.  When she sat down the little stream transformed into an enormous mass of black air and surrounded the woman, she screamed and kicked.

“It does not matter if you kick or how loud you scream, you will never get out of this world!” It was the tree that had spoken!  A bird was trapped with her, an Alicanto, the famous fantasy bird.

“Please can you help me?” murmured the woman.
The bird flew out through a little hole, the woman crept out.

 Then they were safe for ever.

My Nether Dragon

My dragon is an infer dragon

He is the King of black skeletons

With gleaming, sharp swords.

He is made of the finest infer blocks

His eyes are made of the brightest glow stones

He protects me from zombies and great spiders.

When we fly through the infer

Lots of little infer dragons fly
With us through our magic portal.
