My Christmas

For Christmas I got a Lego technic plane that is 64 centimetres long and the wing span is 61 centimetres. The next present was a black jaguar t-shirt. Then I got  something to make robots. Last of all I got a box to make circuits. We went sledging in the Pyrenees. We celebrated the New Year with fire works and party canons and glow armbands. We went to the swimming pool. I built an ice house with big triangle pieces but we could not make the roof. I did a fitness circuit ten times in a row.

The perfect Holidays

One of the things I do in my spare time is go in my computer and play some Minecraft, in Minecraft I sometimes play in servers and play some Hunger Games. Hunger Games is a game where you start in a little hole and when everyone is ready the holes lift and you have got to go in the middle and in the middle there are chests, and in the chests there is all kind of stuff like a stone sword, diamond boots, golden apples, golden armour, diamond armour, and lots of other things. So when you’ve got all the things you can go to another place to find other chests or go and kill other players and if you have killed all the players you are the winner. But when I can’t connect to servers I go in singleplayer and explode things with TNT, I explode things like sand temples, villages, mountains, or sometimes I build things out of TNT and then explode them. The morning of Christmas I was super mega excited because I couldn’t wait until I open my presents; But then it was the time to see but first we had to see if the reindeer's ate the carrots and also if Santa ate the biscuits and drank the milk. Then we went to see if the presents were there. When I saw the presents I was as happy as a clown. This is what I got for Christmas:
  • A Samsung tablet.
  • The lego golden dragon with the golden ninja.
  • A guitar.
  • A lego city.
  • 2 transformers 4 that change from car to robot
That is what I got for Christmas.
Then we celebrated 2015 and then that's it, that's the end.

A perfect Holiday

This Christmas, I have been to Spain. It was great fun, specially on Christmas day. On Christmas day I had lunch with my grand parents, cousins, uncles and unties in Madrid. Three days later,my sister and I went to a race: 17 San Silvestre Villasecana. This year I was not as lucky as last year because I did not win a price, though I did not end badly.

Another highlight of this Christmas break was when we visited Toledo with my cousins and uncles. We went to see the house and museum of "El Greco", a very famous painter who died 500 years ago.

The perfect way of ending the holidays is waiting for the three wise men to come. This year they brought me an awesome brand new bike!!

My Winter Break Vacation

We did not do the usual thing of visiting a place during this winter break. We decided to stay in Toulouse. In fact we wanted to visit some places but as my dad said he has a problem with this passport, we decided to stay in France. He also said there is no point to travel anywhere in France as it was cold and Toulouse is more warmer than other places.

We still had a good time in the break. We did Christmas shopping for all of us in the family, My dad bought a new tablet, my mom bought some clothes, me and my sister bought some toys that we long wanted and some clothes as well.

My day always wondered whether he bought the new tablet for himself or for me and my sister. We loaded plenty of new games in the tablet (like minion rush, subway surfers, temple run, mr crab, pitfall) and started playing.

The other thing that I did during the break was to improve on my language skills. I read some books on French.

My father got to see me do some creative looming when he got me the rainbow loom set. I made some chains, bracelets, Christmas stockings, and so on. I had a good company with me, as my friend Aaryaa from year 6 joined me in this activity.

I long wanted to learn the "hoola hoop". Thanks to my dad, I bought a hoola hoop and also learnt to do the swings. I tried to teach my sister as well, but she did not try as she was not comfortable with it. She will perhaps learn this later.

I thought we may not have a good vacation but we really had a relaxing and exciting one.

Christmas Presents

On the first day of Christmas I was so excited.
I rushed to the tree and saw loads of presents. I was so amazed of how much there was.

Let the holidays begin... with snowflakes!

Well done everyone for a great autumn term! Thank you everyone, parents and students, for all your kind words and gifts to us teachers! The holidays!

If you feel like blogging a bit during the holidays, do! It would be great to hear from you!

I'll post something now. I've just seen another online way to make snowflakes - perhaps better than the one we've used before!

It's called Paper Snowflake (although of course it's not). It looks a bit like this:
You click the corners of shapes you create - in the right hand blue rectangle - that's the folded-up one, then click "Make Snowflake" on the right hand side.
It's got the look of a paper snowflake - but without any trees needing to be cut down! Have a try!

Thanks to Malke Rosenfeld for showing me this!

Christmas Time with DST

4B had another lovely afternoon yesterday with DST.  This time we made Christmas cards together.  Thank you to DST for making us feel so welcome and for sharing your yummy cakes with us.
Here are some more photos:

Snow Queen Windows

Miss Whittaker used our Geogebra patterns of triangles and stars, along with our snowflakes, to create two brilliant windows to decorate the hall. Don't they look great!

Our Christmas artwork in 4B is also about The Snow Queen and it needed some stars.  So we used GeoGebra to create a star mosaic.  Here is our work so far.
