Petrified forest National Park

If I could go anywhere in the world, I would go to…

THE PETRIFIED FOREST NATIONAL PARK!!

In Arizona, USA

I would like to go there because it would be amazing to see an 

extinct tree. Now it is petrified but it was alive 200,000,000 years ago. The first petrified tree was discovered in 1853 and an archeologists realised it was from the Triassic. The trees were more than 180m tall.

If you where to go there, you could see the painted desert or other historical things like the Route 66, that goes from Chicago to Los Angeles.

Superb Bird –of-Paradise

This bird is dissimilar from the rest because of his way of

It curves its feathers (which looks like an iridescent mouth) and tilts its head (which looks like the eyes).

Endangered animals

Take a look at these endangered animals around the world…
I'm sure you'll find a few you didn't know existed.

I chose this number because: 

1. It is a square number… and I love square numbers!

1. Four squared equals 16. Four is my mum's favourite number, because she was born on January 4th.
2. I am eight years old, I like the number two, and if you multiply eight by two, you get 16.
3. This year, I will turn nine and my sister seven. 9+7=16

A perfect Holiday

This Christmas, I have been to Spain. It was great fun, specially on Christmas day. On Christmas day I had lunch with my grand parents,cousins, uncles and unties in Madrid. Three days later,my sister and I went to a race: 17 San Silvestre Villasecana. This year I was not as lucky as last year because I did not win a price, though I did not end badly. 

Another highlight of this Christmas break was when we visited Toledo with my cousins and uncles. We went to see the house and museum of "El Greco", a very famous painter who died 500 years ago.

The perfect way of ending the holidays is waiting for the three wise men to come. This year they brought me an awesome brand new bike!!

Exciting Sunday!

This morning Telmo, Vega and their parents came home for a brunch because we were going to go to the Airbus Christmas party. My mum decided to have a brunch because the Airbus party started when we usually have lunch in the weekends. After the brunch, we played minecraft and lego Star Wars because Telmo loves it. Meanwhile, my sister and Vega played 'Just Dance' with the Wii. We all played until we had to leave to the the Airbus party.

When we got to the party, we found Gustavo and Miguel in the parking lot… I was happy to see them but they suddenly disappeared with David and their parents. After leaving the cars, we walked until we found some fun fair games: spinning rockets & crushing cars. Out of these two games, I preferred the crushing cars because you were in a small car in a big track, and it was very fun to drive forward and backwards crushing into other similar cars. I really enjoyed it because Mateo, who I met right before, was also driving and we were very good at it. This was the first time i've ever been in a crushing car animation. I played twice, the first time, I struggled because I could not go forward when I wanted. However, the second time I became the master and I could really hit my targets (Mateo!)

Around three o'clock we all went inside the 'Zenit Auditorium' where the main part of the party was, which consisted on a Magic show. The theme was about a man pretending to be Jules Verne while he was doing magic tricks (making people smaller, transporting people from one place to another, elevating people, chopping them though they were still alive, etc). The majority of us found it a bit boring because they always did the same magic tricks. My sister, for instance, disliked it so much, that she didn't go to the second half, and instead, she stayed outside with dad making hand made crafts.

When the show ended, we all grouped together and each family went home.

Overall, it was a nice way to finish the weekend. Just one more week until Christmas! Next weekend I shall be flying to España! :-)

Tight rope walkers

A long time ago, there lived four duck brothers named Bib, Bob, Bab and Beb. They lived on a thin wire near a farm, where they became the best tight rope walkers in the world. 

One day, Bib decided to go to the city to find another place to live where they could perform their shows . He asked Bab to look after their brothers. 

So Bib set off. He flew over mountains and rivers until he saw a powerful light … He was in New York City!

Bib found the perfect spot near Central Park where they all lived ever since. 

A young lady's adventure

A young lady, a strange duck and a long-legged alligator stood in a strange-looking cave near an extremely long river. The woman was tall and thin. She had long hair and a ring around her shirt.

The duck gazed at the woman suspiciously. “Are you staring at that boring river, or at that violent long-legged alligator?” asked the astonished duck.

“No I’m not!!’’ snapped the lady rudely, “I’m trying to get away!”

“But I started to love this cave” sighed duck

“Yes, you `started’ but I’m afraid you didn't finish!!” laughed the woman.

“Yes but…I…” said the duck desperately…
