My Hamster

My hamster is soooooooo cute! I have trained him to stand on his hind legs when I say "Up". I have trained him to come to me in his ball when I call his name and I have love it when he sleeps in my arms. Tres mignon!!

Cooking with my Dad

On Saturday I cooked with my dad. We looked through the cook book my mum wrote and the cook book I got for my birthday. We chose the meal from my mum's cook book and the dessert from my cook book. The meal was pasta carbonara and the dessert was profiteroles. We made two things at the same time!

Horse Whisperer

I would love to visit a place in Argentina which is famous because of some people that are called Horse Whisperers. 

I have chosen that I want to see a Horse Whisperer because I love horses.

The place where Horse Whisperers live is in San Antonio de Areco

A Horse Whisperer is a person who can tame horses without a whip, shouting or pulling on the reins.

A very famous Horse Whisperer is called Martin Tata. Martin is a gaucho. A gaucho is a person who is like a cowboy. They have hats that look like berets and they like the traditional tea, yerba mate.

Tata’s horse is called Milonga. I’ve read Tata can make his horse do handstands and other poses. 

Martin is self-taught which means he taught himself how to tame the horses.

Huon Astrapia

Name:  Huon Astrapia

Colour: The Male Huon Astrapia is more coloured than the female. He has black feathers apart from a blue part on its head, a purple-green tail and a lime green tummy. The female has blackish-brown feathers.

Size: The Huon Astrapia is approximately 69 cm long for the male but the female is smaller.

Diet: Some birds of paradise eat insects, some eat fruits and some eat both. The Huon Astrapia , being a herbivore,  eats fruits and seeds.

Habitat: The Huon Astrapia lives in the mountain rain forests of Paupa New Guinea.

These species are not endangered or extinct.

My Holiday

For the first week of the holiday me and my family went skiing at Ax les Thermes.

We went to a creperie called Le Oiseau Bleu

I went for one that looked quite weird. It was sugar and sweets. This is what I got...

On Tuesday I woke up to find that it was snowing!

In the morning i went to meet Marie at the patisserie and we built a snow-man but Marie's brothers destroyed it ;( .
When Marie left  me and my brother made giant snow-balls and stood on them.

I’ve always loved this place,

Leap, swim and sneak up on animals,

I’ve always wanted to go with him.

Now I am older,

I have the joy of having young,

And often I go hunting,

Whilst my husband deals with the young.

Sometimes, when I go hunting,

I like to sneak up on my prey,

Spying it until I am sure it is resting,

Then pounce, sinking my jaws into it,

Hear it squealing, until it is gone.

When the hunt is over,

I bring it back to the young,

And providing food for all the family,

Having a piece myself.

You must be afraid of me,

But also not forget,

The sweet, gentle self I was,

When I was young.

Walking In The Rainforest

THE FOUR BROTHERS

Once upon a time there were four brothers and they were all birds. One day they all went into the forest but had a disagreement. Their disagreement was that the tallest wanted to go north, the shortest wanted to go East, the second shortest wanted to go south, and the one with the curly hair wanted to go west. It turned out that they all went in their own direction but they met again in a village. “It would have been better if we just went in the same direction” said the oldest. Then, suddenly, they froze on that stick.  

The lady

Once there was a lady that sought an adventure. One day she was invited to her friend’s house so she rushed into the forest. Once in the forest she heard a rustle in the bushes ahead.

“Who’s there?” she called.

A moment later a gorgeous bird came out and cried “Nobody likes me!” Then the lady exclaimed “How could anybody not like you?! Would you like to join me? I’m going to my friend’s house.”

The bird agreed, so they flew over the trees together.

When they finally arrived; the lady, her friend and the beautiful bird had tea together.                                                                                          

Giorgia W.C. Muffin

Two weeks ago I got a pet rabbit and trust me, it's A LOT of work! She's called Giorgia W.C. Muffin and she sometimes gets a bit DEVILISH but she doesn't bite me any more.When I hold her she always licks me and her tongue is very warm. SO CUTE!!!!!! 

The Ice Fire Dragon

My dragon is an Ice Fire dragon
Her body’s colours are
From snowy white to creamy pink
And from creamy pink to blood red.

Her front legs are a greyish white

But her back legs are pinky red
Her tail is also greyish white
Her fins are also pinky red
And her eyes are jet black.

When it’s winter she keeps me warm
And when it is summer
She keeps me cool
But when the temperature is good
She sleeps under my bed on a clump of pillows.

She’s a very fussy eater
She only eats ice-cream
She likes to sit in the oven
And likes to lie down in the fridge.

We dance in the stars together
Doing loop-the-loops
She drops me and catches me
And it feels like I’m flying.

Chiminey's coat

I have a cuddly toy cat called Chiminey
On the weekend me and my granny made my cuddly toy a red coat.
We knitted it and sewed a button on so the coat stayed on Chiminey's neck. We made too many mistakes so we had to do it twice. I am planning  to make gloves and a hat as well. I am also going to make some for my best friend's toys!
