A king and his servant

A very long time ago there lived a king in his palace. He had a servant, a very helpful servant indeed. One day the king had a lot of work to do. There was a lot of mess to clean up. The king ordered his servant to tidy up the mess. When he had cleaned up the mess he was feeling very tired so left the job. The king was very sad about it. One day somewhere near his palace a poor man was living there. He asked if he could be his servant. The king agreed.

The Woman and the Bird

In a deep black forest a woman whimpered to a little stream.  When she sat down the little stream transformed into an enormous mass of black air and surrounded the woman, she screamed and kicked.

“It does not matter if you kick or how loud you scream, you will never get out of this world!” It was the tree that had spoken!  A bird was trapped with her, an Alicanto, the famous fantasy bird.

“Please can you help me?” murmured the woman.
The bird flew out through a little hole, the woman crept out.

 Then they were safe for ever.

The lover of the animals

Once there was a woman. The woman was so good with the animals that the animals wanted to be with her all the time! She got to her house and went to sleep. The next day she woke up and went with the animals, but the animals weren’t there, they were sleeping. She saw a dog in the forest with three pigs that were sleeping in the mud. The dog was so cute that she couldn’t watch him. Then she saw all the animals in the centre of the forest, they were all together. It was beautiful. I love that.

A Young Lady's Adventure

She met a big fat fish in the forest. Eyes were watching her. She was lost and she was wondering what to do. So, she asked the big fat fish how could she come out of the forest.

“Follow my friend the red dragon, and he will lead you to the village,” said the big fat fish.

So the dragon asked her, “Where do you want to go?”

And she said, “I want to go to the village.”

The way was long and boring. It took three days to get the village.

She said to the dragon, “Goodbye and thanks.”

A Young Lady's Adventure

At night all the people were sleeping and there was a woman that was in the forest, she wasn’t sleeping. The woman was lost in the forest; it was very dark. She was in a scary forest full of strange animals. She was thinking to go back to home. The woman saw a strange bird. The bird was very tall and there was a snake. The snake was very small. She met someone that knew the forest very well, and it was her mother. When she got back she told her mum all the things she’d done in the night.

A Young Lady's Adventure

A young god wanted to explore. She didn’t notice that she went to the gates of a lost world. The gates suddenly shut behind like a volcano. There was no escape. She knew that she had to find the legendary gold bird. She had only until sunset. She knew all this because it said on a huge rock with carvings. So she went on her way to find the golden bird. She met a giant that was also stuck the same way as her, so they found the bird exactly at midday. They caught it and went through the gates.

A dark spooky forest

One dark spooky night a young lady was walking through the forest when she heard a rustle in the bush, “what is that” she exclaimed.

She went over to the bush, and saw the most incredible bird she had ever seen in her entire life.

“WOW what a beautiful bird you are” said the little lady.

Then the little lady heard another rustle, but this time the rustle came from a big tree.

 The little lady was absolutely terrified!

“I am so scared” mumbled the little lady. She was so scared that she turned and ran all the way home.

The Haunted Forest

Once upon a time there was a young lady walking in the woods, but she did not see the sign saying ‘HAUNTED FOREST’ (the forest was not actually haunted!)

She carried on walking into the creepy forest, it was getting darker and darker with every step she took. It got mistier and thicker and muddier but eventually it brightened at the end where there was a river and lots of animals. One of the animals was a medium sized bird, but it had three eyes! The lady was a scared of the bird so she killed it with a gun!!

Today we had a look at some of the inventions in Wallace and Gromit:



and we tried to write the algorithm for the Bed Launcher and the Jam Ballista.

Bed Launcher

Here's Holly and Rose's algorithm:

1. Alarm clock rings.
2. Press second button on system control box.
3. Gromit pulls lever.
4. Counterweight lifts up bed mattress.
5. Person falls out of the bottom of the bed.
6. Doors in floor open.
7. Person falls into trousers and lands on the chair.

Jam Ballista

Here's Marie's algorithm for the Jam Balista:

1. Press activation button.
2. Spring pulls down.
3. Spoon goes in the jam.
4. Spoon catapults the jam.
5. Toaster ejects toast.
6. Jam goes on toast.
7. Time to eat!

The lady

Once there was a lady that sought an adventure. One day she was invited to her friend’s house so she rushed into the forest. Once in the forest she heard a rustle in the bushes ahead.

“Who’s there?” she called.

A moment later a gorgeous bird came out and cried “Nobody likes me!” Then the lady exclaimed “How could anybody not like you?! Would you like to join me? I’m going to my friend’s house.”

The bird agreed, so they flew over the trees together.

When they finally arrived; the lady, her friend and the beautiful bird had tea together.                                                                                          

The old woman

One dark and spooky night a little poor lady was walking past the very large wood while mumbling to herself. “Mmm…..How…..Mmmm…..How would I get somebody to transform me into a beautiful young lady so I would be able to run as quick as lightning and have so many adventures?”

Then as quick as a tick she had an idea! She went to a witch’s house and knocked at the door, the door opened “Hello?” the young lady said. “Hello I would like you to transform me into a beautiful young lady that can run very fast!” and the witch did.

The Strange Animals

Once upon a time there was a mysterious women. At midnight she visited the really strange animals. There was a really strange fish and a weird bird, the bird had an eye next to its beak and one next to the wing.

But one night she heard a noise.  The animals were scared she ran to look and it was a party with other strange animals and she joined in. 

She saw a zigzag arrow.  The women looked down and she said “What is that arrow?”

She followed it and nothing happened. And the party went on.

A Mysterious Planet

Once upon a time on a mysterious planet there was a lady walking in a mysterious forest where birds talk and fish can live on Earth.

The lady celebrated a birthday with the fish and the birds, of course her family and friends from planet Earth came to the party, but a monster came to chase them all!

She escaped with her family to the planet Earth. And when they landed the astronauts asked how strange that planet is and if there are aliens, if there are forests and if there is water.

Of course the lady told the truth.

Giorgia W.C. Muffin

Two weeks ago I got a pet rabbit and trust me, it's A LOT of work! She's called Giorgia W.C. Muffin and she sometimes gets a bit DEVILISH but she doesn't bite me any more.When I hold her she always licks me and her tongue is very warm. SO CUTE!!!!!! 

Factor Trees

A Young Ladys Adventure

Rachel was in a terrifying wood. She was trying to find a way to get back home.

Suddenly some weird type of bird came up to her and said “hello do you need any help?”

Rachel said “well thank you, I don’t know much about this forest, could you help me find my way back home?”

“No problem, Just hop on my back I’ll take you to wherever you want!”

So she climbed on his back.

“Where do you want to go?”

“I’d like to go to my house, at Dragon Island”

“No problem I’ll take you there”

“Thank you!”

A young lady's adventure

A young lady, a strange duck and a long-legged alligator stood in a strange-looking cave near an extremely long river. The woman was tall and thin. She had long hair and a ring around her shirt.

The duck gazed at the woman suspiciously. “Are you staring at that boring river, or at that violent long-legged alligator?” asked the astonished duck.

“No I’m not!!’’ snapped the lady rudely, “I’m trying to get away!”

“But I started to love this cave” sighed duck

“Yes, you `started’ but I’m afraid you didn't finish!!” laughed the woman.

“Yes but…I…” said the duck desperately…

A young lady's adventure

There lived a tall young woman who was an explorer in Africa. One night she decided that the next day she was going to try to discover a new magical island, so she prepared everything and she said bye to her family and went on a brand new adventure. While she was in the boat she saw blue dolphins and sharks swimming and birds in the sky. She saw the clouds turn grey and the waves go violent. The waves washed away her wrecked boat and she landed on the island of her magical dreams. She was very happy here.

A Young Lady's Adventure

Once, there was a young lady named Emily.
She lived in a small village in England, all by herself.
One day, she left home to explore.
After quite some time, Emily came to the entrance of a cave. It was very dark and spooky, but Emily wasn’t scared. She stepped into the cave and went further.
In a bit, Emily felt a little lost.
Very mysteriously, the young lady heard a sort of flapping noise.
She found a candle in her pocket, and lit it.
At least she could see now.
She could see a rare bird and a dragon.

At the shimmer of dark there was a lady. The lady was going to the Halloween party in a very dark place. She also had a sister. When she came back her sister was asleep because it was night time. When she slept she had a nightmare. When she woke up she was very scared because of her nightmare. So she told her sister about her dream.

“In my dream I was on a vase. All around me there were scary creatures like birds, things with three eyes and above me there were two big eyes looking like an owl.”

Emma's Adventure

A long time ago there lived a princess. She was as beautiful as a swan. She was called Emma.

Today Emma was going on a mission. Emma was very happy, she loved going on adventures. Her mum helped her get ready. She was going to find a rare firebird.

Emma set off for her adventure she hoped she would find the rare firebird. She was walking along crunching all the leaves

SUDDENLY Emma saw the rare firebird, she tried to put the bird in the cage but she knew she had to name the bird. Emma named the bird Flame.

The young lady's adveture

One day on a dark night there was   lady with animals and birds surrounding her. There was a weird arrow pointing to her leg. It looked as if the animals were sticking to the lady and eating her. The lady was gold and the other animals were vibrant, so the lady looked a bit odd. She looked like an elephant if you stood on your head. The best part in the story was that it was like a flat lake and there was a type of plant too. The scene was really amazing.

One day there was a woman who was a woman who was an explorer who got lost in a rainforest at night. It was so cold. She didn’t have a coat. Suddenly there was a howling noise. She wondered what it was. It was a bird. But not a normal one! It had green and purple feathers! Suddenly she realised what type of bird it was: a multi-coloured robin, the most rare! But it flew away. So the explorer continued walking and walking and slowly approached a light. She was so happy that she didn’t care about the bird.

On Friday night 1st November 2014 at Gravity Falls, Lindy and his sister Mable were watching a horror movie to celebrate Halloween. When the movie ended, they both went to bed, Mable just jumped into her bed and started to sleep, but Lindy had to write a story about Gravity Falls, and since she hadn’t any ideas she decided to go outside to get inspired. Everything was really quiet for a minute, but then suddenly… a dog jumped out of a bush! Between his jaws he held her necklace, so she followed him into another bush, but he had vanished.

This is the longest and most uncommen phobia. Strangely it is a fear of long words!!! Not many people have hippopotamonstrosesquipedaliophobia. There is a youtube song of it and it is hilarious !!!

A Forgotten Sword

I have found during the holidays a sword that nobody remembers: a forgotten sword. The only thing that we know is that it comes from Tunisia and we think it was a present that someone has given to my Dad in the past.

My Dad believes  it comes from an old wizard and it is magical ... What do you think??

Bordeaux and St.Emilion

In my holidays I went to Bordeaux and St Emilion.

In Bordeaux I went to a place called Place de la Bourse, where there was water sprayed like smoke from the ground like in Vulcania! But this was much bigger space, so that it feels like you are inside the clouds.

Bordeaux is just like Toulouse but in Bordeaux most of the people know English.

I learned more from the internet about Bordeaux and St Emilion that they are famous for lot of wine yards. Bordeaux is located close to the European Atlantic Coast. The city is built on a bend of the river Garonne, and is divided into two parts: The right bank in the East and the left bank in the West.

In St Emilion, we rode on a Petit train through the wine yards. We could only see a little bit of grapes, because they had already harvested all the grapes to make wines. We then went inside the village and we went to the top of the King’s Castle. From the top of the castle, the view of the village was really beautiful.

We found a Tawny owl in the middle of the road.

He was very fluffy.  We named him Hooty.

He seemed OK so we put him or her in a safe place.
