Estimation: How many beads are in the jar?

A full jar has 140 beads in it.
How many beads have I left in the jar now?

    Well I think 30 is too small and 90 is too big but my esimate is 50.

    I think that 1/4 of the jar is empty.
    60 is too small, 130 is too big, my estimate is 100.

    I think 50 is to small and 101 is to big. My estimate is 75.
