Toucan

I often love this rainforest,
The cold rain cools me down,
On a hot day.

When I’m flying,
I feel the soft sweat on my back,
Gliding fast diving down,
For a branch.

Squawking to my friends,
I always remember to tweet back.

When I sleep the tall green trees,
Sway from side to side,
When I cover myself in rotten leaves.

  1. You've included lots of the feelings you would have, Annie, and it brings the poem to life. Well done!
